He was invited by "Amiga", to show his collection, not only for being good, but for being great!

HAPPY BDAY AMIGA MAGAZINE

If guatemalan women (why not to say latin women too) have been influenced and developed an identity... It has been by Amiga Magazine, by Prensa Libre.
Displaying the most important and influential women around the country and the world, the magazine is a window to see what the women's world is like...
Fashion, as they say, is the most readed section of the magazine... creating a big change in women's wardrobe....
Celebrating the 20 years bringing to the world the most talented women... the magazine made a casting of fashion designers, to show some of their work... displaying 40 new young talented designers... the first thing i thought was.. WOW!
I'm so happy for it, that proves there is so much talent around...

ISTMO PARAISO by Saúl E. Mendez

Last wednesday, Emilio Méndez, Saúl E. Mendez's designer released the spring/summer 2010 collection... displaying designs by Emilio and some items from Firetrap, Color Siete, 55DSL and Ben Sherman , the show was a celebration of Central america's culture. It was a latin party, in fact, at the end the models were dancing over the catwalk, some of them with very sexy moves... hmmm. Anyway, I liked the collection, colorful and vivacious... however, I'm feeling like... Emilio is getting stuck in the same type of shows... Hmm... Let's hope for more surprises next season. Here some of my fav looks, loved the sandals and the music by Francis Dávila... awesome!
