Sin embargo, después de ver el debut de Fashion Shenzhen durante la semana de moda de Nueva York, el mundo definitivamente cambiara su perspectiva hacia China para verla como una nueva fuente de inspiración y tendencias.
During the last months I've been reading a lot about the chinese fashion market and how much it has developed its own world (in a manner of speak) where fashion bloggers like Cherry Gun, Winny, Meijia S, sites like Weibo and malls like Shin Kong Place have opened a whole new fashion world to discover. When I received the invitation to attend Fashion Shenzhen debut on New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 Collections, I couldn't be more happier and interested to discover and approach part of this world, which I'm sure, has opened a new gate for the chinese fashion industry.
Durante los ùltimos meses he estado leyendo distintos artìculos sobre el emergente mercado chino y lo mucho que, en cierta forma, ha desarrollado su propio mundo en la moda, en donde bloggers como Cherry Gun, Winny, Meijia S, sitios como Weibo o centros comerciales como Shin Kong Place han abierto un mundo entero por descubir. Parte de este mundo incluye a Shenzhen, una ciudad del sur de China conocida por su industria y manufactura en moda.
Cuando recibì la invitaciòn para asistir a la presentaciòn debut de Fashion Shenzhen en la semana de moda de Nueva York, no podrìa haber estado màs que feliz e interesado por
descubrir y tener un acercamiento a este mundo hasta ahora desconocido,del cual estoy seguro, abrirà un nuevo capìtulo para la industria y moda china.
The show opened with Guoxin Xia of Ellassay, a ready to wear collection for women presenting a variety of shapes from simple and sleak, to flowy that bringed to the runway transparencies combined with floral prints and color blocking with hologramic details. A very international type of design in my opinion.
El show iniciò con Guoxin Xia de la marca Ellassay, una colecciòn ready to wear
enfocada a mujeres. Desde simples y simplicadas siluetas hasta unas màs complejas,
la presentaciòn de looks llevò a la pasarela algunas transparencias combinadas con
patrones florales, bloques de color y detalles hologràmicos. Una forma muy internacional
de diseño en mi opiniòn.
After Ellasay's runway, Deng Hao with a clear chinese accent, showed a beutiful collection full of details and artsy prints that reminded me to the beautiful scenes represented in the 18th century chinese porcelain, a collection that certainly, showcased at the Lincoln Center, what chinese fashion design is all about.
Luego de la presentaciòn de Ellasay, Deng Hao con un marcado acento chino, mostrò una colecciòn impresionante llena de detalles y patrones muy artìsticos que me recordaron a los escenarios representados en la porcelana china del siglo 18, una colecciòn que acertadamente llevò a las pasarelas de Lincoln Center, el verdadero espìritu del diseño de modas chino.
