LAS PENITENTES DE LA RECOLECCIÓN

Summer holidays are over and my fashion social stressful and endless party monster life is recharged and ready to go! The Saúl E. Méndez SS 2012 fashion show is coming in a few days with pro models coming to town from Costa Rica and New York... yes! this fashion show is going to be a kick ass event! Also, I'm giving a conference in Universidad de San Carlos (The 3rth. university stablished in America during the colony) in May, I'll be posting more info about it soon.

So, Thank to our beloved Jesus, Semana Santa (holy week) in Guatemala is extremely beautiful and is the perfect muse for great artists to produce some art, in this case, my friend Eny Roland shooted LAS PENITENTES DE LA RECOLECCIÓN, a very modern religious barroque-ish photoshoot styled by the fashion designer Mynor Véliz and the art direction from Juan Pensamiento.

Terminan las vacaciones de Semana Santa y mi estresada vida social fashionista y party monster esta más cargada que nunca! El fashion show de Saúl E. Méndez esta a la vuelta de la esquina con modelos de Costa Rica y Nueva York... Fuck yeah! este show va a estar en todo!. También, les comentor que voy a estar dando una conferencia en la Universidad de San Carlos en Mayo para el 25 aniversario de la escuela de diseño, pronto les posteo info de este evento.

Regresando al tema de Semana Santa, gracias a nuestro querido Jesús, en Guatemala es extremadamente hermosa y solemne. La musa perfecta para producir algo de arte, y en este caso, mi amigo Eny Roland produjo LAS PENITENTES DE LA RECOLECCIÓN, un photoshoot bastante moderno con toques barrocos, el styling estuvo a cargo del diseñador de moda Mynor Véliz y la dirección de arte por Juan Pensamiento.
